CSS is a fresh food recycler. Each year more than five million tons of fresh, human-quality food goes to waste. Though still nutritionally sound, consumer demand for cosmetic perfection and sell-by timing forces these fruits, vegetables, and meats into the landfill, where they become a leading contributor to world greenhouse gas emission. We make the best use of food that supermarkets cannot sell by recovering that food before it goes to waste, and processing the food into a highly palatable, nutritious blend.

Using proprietary “cold chain” logistics, CSS recovers this food with its flavor and nutrition intact. Using its patented process, CSS formulates and blends it into consistent, valuable Upcycled Certified ingredients that can improve a wide range of pet food products.

Our patented enzymatic digestion process controls make a safe, effective product utilizing our H2H™ process to turn vegetable and meat products into liquid and dried forms, which then go through our laboratory testing QA/QC that is ideally suited for pet food ingredient production.
